Marijuana use post-op.

I know we can't vape or smoke anything post op but edibles seem to be a grey area. Clearly it would need to be edibles without sugar/carbs. That rules out most edible types like gummies which I would'nt be willing to eat anyways. There are tinctures and capsule edibles that would work but here's my concern; post-op does marijuana make you hungrier?

Post-op hunger pains/signals are different because the largest portion of your stomach that created hunger signals is removed. Now post-op I don't feel hunger the same way I use to, it's more of a different kind of pain. Before surgery marijuana use to have a profound increase to my hunger, almost insatiably so which I hated so I quit despite needing the THC for mental health reasons.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about marijuana post-op?
