Incision pain post op

Post Body

Hi All, first post on here!

Iā€™m 4 days post op and since the surgery one of my incisions is pretty damn painful. When asking my surgeon about it he said that there was bleeding when removing the stomach and instruments and to prevent internal bleeding and a potential hernia he had to suture into the abdomen muscles so this incision will hurt and be more painful than the others.

The area around the incision now goes inwards on my belly like an inverted lump. All of my incisions are bruised but Iā€™m not concerned about that.

My question is, did anyone else have their sutures into the muscle wall? Was it painful for you and how long did the pain last? I was hoping the pain would be lessening by now but nope! Thanks šŸ„°
