If you were on the fence, what solidified your decision?

Post Body

I’ve been considering the sleeve for about 3 years now. Researching. Watching videos. Joining groups. Listing pros and cons. It’s something that I know that I want and need (for a variety of reasons), but I keep telling myself that “I can lose the weight on my own”. I find myself talking down to myself or telling myself that “being fat isn’t so bad” every time I get close to pulling the trigger. Yet, here I am, 3 years later, still at the same weight. Still wanting to lose weight. Still considering this tool.

For those of you who struggled with the decision, how long did you tussle with yourself? lol How did you end up coming to the decision you did? How do you feel your life would be different if you would’ve chosen not to have surgery?

Yeah

Now I’m at 185lbs and have no regrets. Sometimes I find my self craving old comfort foods but set a 20min timer and that feeling is gone

“Look I’ll put it to you this way, continue this way you won’t see your 50th” I was 31 I didn’t like that idea
