Quick Q for this group:
My father, an alcoholic, is gaslighting my mother due to the symptoms of his disease.
We (mother, sister, and I) and are working out how to deal with this but it’s hurting my mother and I want to provide her guidance in the short-medium term to understand that it’s not her fault. She is not ready at this point to go to Al-Anon meetings, but I want to alleviate her guilt and want to show her that she is not at fault.
Does this group have recommendations for gaslighting caused by alcohol addiction? I’d greatly appreciate any guidance I am grateful for your time.
