can you put potatoes back in ground
Post Body
I've never grown potatoes before (clearly), i had grown some mini potato plants by chance in my compost and moved them to an actual planter, I just picked two because I reached into the soil after reading they were ready after flowering and some potatoes were ready but when I move my hands around they were little tiny purple ones about the size of dimes still connected to roots, I just put them down and put more dirt over them, is this alright? I hope I didn't stop them from being able to grow
