Chainlink fence as a trellis?
Post Body

Reconfiguring and expanding the garden this year, making it a little more permanent with a chainlink fence(mostly to keep out the dog who knows no boundaries). Wondering if I could also use the fence to act as a trellis for pole beans and peas as well as cucumbers? The varieties I'm going to be growing are 4-8ft vines, so thinking if I have them run up the fence and down the other side that should be max for the vines.

Any input? Has anyone used a fence for that purpose?
