I'm planning on moving my sprouted seedlings which are less than 2 inches tall from New Jersey to Connecticut. I don't have a car to take so I'll be bussing it between locations. It's an egg tray (12) containing bell peppers, okras, and squash. The okras are especially fragile. I feel like this will be notably stressful for them and like my best bet would be to just start afresh in Connecticut with new seeds. The ride is about 3.15 total and I usually travel at night. The weather has also been near/below freezing, so I feel like I'll need extra care and protection for them. I'll be sad if I have to abandon them, but if they'll survive in Nj, it's better than a trail of tears to Connecticut. I've grown them indoors in incubators and took them out for their first treatment of fresh air recently. What are my options for taking my babies with me? Is it better to just start anew?
