So! My girlfriend got to pick flowers and I picked fruits/vegetables. I just wanted tomatoes. We are TOTAL novices so go easy on me.
Everything was purchased at a Lowe's.
Everything was planted in the ground with a layer of compost around the bottom and sides, with mulch on top. We've been composting for 3 years just from a conservation/waste standpoint, but it was cooking really well since the weather has gotten warmer, so we decided to try some gardening this year.
Last year sucked for tomatoes, so I tried to go for good looking hybrid, disease-resistant plants. Got a Celebrity (big one) and a Bonnie Original.
I'm not entirely sure what all we have, see the many question marks in the album. Please let me know any precautions to take or any basic gardening advice!
