I accidentally crushed the new growth tip of my pumpkin vine. What do?
Post Body

My pumpkin is growing in a container. (I live in an apartment building and have a small cement patio to work with). I was going to prune my rose bush and absentmindedly stepped on the tip of my pumpkin. My heart sank as I heard the tell tale crunch.

The vine is only about 4 feet long at this point. Should I just prune the crushed bit and hope for some secondary vine growth?

I also have several wind and rain damaged leaves. They're starting to get yellowed at the broken edges. Should I prune those as well?
