Favorite Garlic?

Hi guys. Ive got my first garden up and growing and I want to plant some garlic this fall. Im in zone 5b.
I was wondering if you guys had varieties that you like better than other, be it on taste, hardiness, or yield. Sadly Ive only ever had supermarket garlic so I dont have much to go on. I have enough space to try several varieties but i wanted to so what the go to for /gardening was. Thanks for your input.
