Not sure of the best way to clear this plot for a garden

I’m going to use this little corner of my property for a veggie garden in the spring and am starting to think about how I’m going to prep the area. My original plan was to nuke it with glyphosate a couple of times and then hit it with a roto-tiller and go from there, but I realize that might not be the best way to do it and would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
