Hi, Iām outside Denver Colorado in zone 6a. My toddler accidentally planted some pumpkin seeds throughout the yard. They got watered (with grass) and grew very severe powdery mildew which spread to cosmo flowers and then a couple rose bushes. We have cleared the cosmos and pumpkins but Iām wondering about the roses. Will the mildew clear off during the winter? I pruned all affected rose branches already but then new growth came in and it had mildew on the edges of the leaves. Wondering if I should do the milk spray or just prune again and let winter take its course? Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
