In the first picture there are three tubers that won't grow roots? I powdered them in root hormones and put them in the perlite water with south window sun light and they just refuse to make roots? The other corms in the bowl are growing roots so :( (pic 1 and 3)
The other two CHONK tubers (pic 2 and 4) are in my perlite fish tank along with the others these two get water and sun just like the bowl ones the only difference is that I give them fertiliser too.
Do tubers need a different treatment than corms or are they just sassy and take longer for roots? Also..are the tubers too deep in the perlite or is it fine because the perlite is either wet or at least damp but never dry.
