Bermuda grass overtook raised garden beds. Whats the best way to kill/remove the grass?

Post Body

At the end of last season bermuda grass started growing in my raised garden bed and its deep roots go all the way to the bottom of my 10 inch garden beds.

What's the best way to remove it? I tried using my garden hoe/pitch fork but it's so much effort.

I also heard solarization doesn't work well with bermuda grass.

Thanks for the tips!
