Hey garden friends! I have what is primarily an herb-garden, in a raised-bed. I've noticed my oregano is growing far faster than I can use it, and is taking up a good chunk of space. My dill is the same. (Though ironically my dill wasn't growing initially, so I sowed a ton of seeds and now it's Night of the Living Dill ova here!)
Should I just move these to pots? I'm considering moving them to a different in-ground garden area we have, but kneeling down to cut them back or harvest some sprigs/leaves seems like a pain if they keep growing so fast.
Beyond that, what herbs will be less overwhelming in these situations? I'd like to avoid similar shenanigans in the future. I know mint is one that grows like a weed. Also, would chives do ok in these circumstances? I live in a very hot climate (AZ), which seems to be bad for my little onion-y friends.
