Need gourd advice
Post Body

I had a question about my calabash gourds zone 6b. I planted them early June and they’re beginning to fruit. My question is whether it would be a good idea to thin out the fruit. I’m thinking that, with the time left before the first frost, they won’t be large enough to use. If I thin all the flowers and leave say six gourds left to grow, then would they grow at a faster rate? I have two plants so I’m thinking 3 gourds each . Thanks in advance for any advice!
