So. Between the likes of Genshin Impact and the dreaded Raid Shadow Leg Ends, gacha games where you buy earn digital currency to gamble on unlocks have, in a sense, become more popular over the past few years.
Honestly? The idea of unlocking things in a random order, particularly a big list of characters you can play as and create fun parties with is one I can't deny appeals to me on some level. But. I am impulsive and I am self aware and I'd rather not risk becoming a whale.
Well. Today. I was contemplating this conundrum and suddenly wondered: "Are there any gacha games with no microtransactions at all?"I have my doubts, since I imagine the main draw of gacha systems for most devs is the potential long term profits.
But hey, I figure if there's one thing strangers on the internet are good it, it's proving you wrong, so I'm asking anyway.
Oh, and I don't game on my phone. Ever. But I do have the three current consoles and a laptop that can play most low-ish end stuff no problem.
