Top-down sci-fi shooter looter (diablo/torchlight clone type)

I want a shooter looter where I can be a robot or human/alien with an armor that looks like a robot.
If possible it could have skills and maybe be open world (like diablo or torchlight), I really want Torchlight in space/future.
RPG things like choices and meaningful dialogues, etc, are secondary, just a plus but I'm not that interested, I just wanna do quests (even fetch quests) while I farm bosses and gear to level up my game.
I made a post on tipofmyjoystick asking about a specific game that might fit my request but I'm looking for more games in general.
