First-person grid-based dungeon crawlers that AREN'T party-based?
Post Body

Basically, I'd prefer a game where you play as a single character instead of needing to micromanage a party.

Preferably playable on Windows 10, but anything emulate-able is fine, too.

Other preferences, but not required:

  • Turn-based combat
  • Minimal plot focus, more loot, character development, and atmosphere focus
  • Either an automap function or ability to draw the map somewhere in game (like in Etrian Odyssey)
  • Decent length or replayability
  • Pixel/sprite art or certain stylized art (games like Paper Sorcerer and Heroes of a Broken Land look better to me than Grimrock)

The best examples I can think of that are similar to this are Orcs & Elves and The Quest, but I've played those quite a bit already.
