Looking for the best Action RPG's that have matchmaking and doesn't feel like playing alone the whole time?
Post Body

I am looking for a fun Action RPG PC GAME:

-I hate inventory mgmt Any game with a small inventory is a no go, constantly having to micromanage inventory space isn't fun.

-No need for looking up endgame build, makes it difficult to even start the game.

-Includes matchmaking for easy pairing with other people.

-Easy/Fast pairs w/ random people for game/dungeon/quest together.

-If I have to play solo most of the game, I will lose interest quickly.

-Can be for PC, Quest 3 VR, Mobile android, maybe Xbox one.

-No need to go back to dead body to get items dropped on death- No time for that BS hardcore stuff.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

NOT - Like Path of Exile: Needing a build for end game loses interest very quickly, it is overwhelming to someone just starting out. I tried POE and I like it, but I always lose interest. I get caught up looking at builds and it's just way too much going on. I don't know how to use the builds while leveling up which they don't show nor do I know what to equip while leveling and it's just way too much.

-One thing I hate about POE is that everyone rushes ALL the time. There is no chill, no exploring a little, it's always RUSH RUSH RUSH RUSH to the point where it isn't enjoyable. I even put "slow chill no rush" in POE and they still rush...I can't keep up and go through my gear as they are rushing.

D2R is not that fun, playing the same content over and over isn't fun. Farming same bosses just to level up over and over ISN'T FUN. They did not even make a sort button for the inv, such bad decisions. Should have done a remake and made new content, not same old stuff we all have done hundreds of times. OR EVEN JUST MAKE AN ACTUAL endgame for existing diablo 2 would have been awesome, but NOOOO.

No turn based games please. I do enjoy playing Baldur's gate 3 or Pillars of Eternity. This is painfully slow though, having to do inventory, stats, leveling, turns for multiple people 4 all game long makes it VERY Long and very slow and doesn't keep me present.

Games I like:

Diablo 4: Feel like I was playing solo ALWAYS, get bored fast.

Only having 4 spells/abilities in Diablo 4 is boring too, Felt like I was just doing the same thing over and over , same 2 spells over and over. Hit enemy with 2 spells, stop and let mana or health regen or spell timer, next enemy 2 spells, wait for regen and repeat forever. So hopefully more than 4 abilities or an easy way to change up combat to keep it fresh?

I want to try Diablo 4 again, however I don't want to solo the game the whole time, or ill lose interest fast. SO i really want some sort of game with matchmaking that will connect me with randoms easily, to keep my attention better.

Project Diablo 2 actually looks super cool, had a hard time getting access, I think I needed a d2 key or something.

---I have played Last Epoch. It's pretty good. I think when I got around levels 20-30's lost interest. I know I played since multiplayer was introduced, I don't remember much though. It wasn't super gripping or exciting and I had a hard time staying present.

I have played Grim Dawn and wouldn't mind getting back into it, Lost interest in level 40's i think. Ended up using a trainer to add 1 or 2 skills and 1 or perks and then lost interest playing solo :'(

9th Dawn 3 and 9th Dawn Remake are quite fun. My attention span gives out after 60% completion there abouts playing solo :/ Those are super amazing games though and near the top of my fav list.

SALEBLAZER'S: Oh how do I love this hidden gem, one of my favorites. After so long solo I get bored.

TITAN QUEST: I was having a blast playing Titan quest with a buddy, he lost interest around level 35 and we never got back to the game.

V rising is okay...I def need someone to play that game with. Tried to play it with loot hogs and wasn't fun. I literally grinded all day long to make items for team mates while they were at work. This chick in the group gets on and someone gives her some of the best armor just because she is a girl then hogs all the loot. It made the whole day i grinded for gear pointless. Lots of grind.

Games I Played and lost interest because of playing solo:

Wolcen: lost interest fast.

Gunfire Reborn: Fun game, would not mind playing again!

Keplerth: Would love to play co-op.

Warframe: I really enjoyed Warframe! It's annoying everyone is in super rush to the point it's not enjoyable. People are TOXIC AF about rushing. If you take too long they get toxic. If you can't commit 3 hours for a defense and want to leave after 30-45 minutes they get super toxic. Too much to do in that game, Forma MGMT sucks, having to wait 1-3 days on building items sucks though.

Core Keeper - fun!! Playing solo not so fun.

Throne and Liberty, fun, hard time keeping interest.

Lost ark, Kept interest until friends quit, then I quit.

Borderlands 2-3-Tiny Tinas are great fun. I'll play it hard for like 2 days and then just forget it exists, OR I get tired of constantly doing inventory MGMT which isn't fun. I forget which guns do what. I hate the borderlands - "we have 10 million guns crap" 98% of the drops are just pure garbage, Idk why common items even exist, such a waste.

Palworld: It's okay, playing solo lost interest fast though.

Torchlight 2-3: Lost interest doing solo.

Minecraft: It's okay, I lose interest very quick playing solo. Not my kind of graphics game. Too many packs to purchase, greedy devs.

I want to know more about:

Victor Vran,

Lord Of The Rings Online:,

Light No Fire,

Monster Hunter World: Had a hard time getting into the series, don't know much about them. Tried and early one and wasn't impressed. Maybe playing solo wasn't good for it.

Tribes of Midgard - need a team to play with. I would love to try this game if I had a good team.

Games I started and don't remember much about, but I like them:

Docksiders' Genesis

The descendant

Last Oasis: have not played since they did a reset.

Conan Exiles: Tried to play solo and can't keep attention.

Soul Mask: Enemies are dicks, stupid stealth panther would 1 hit me from behind, combat isn't great. Having to go back to get your body is dumb.v

GAMES I NO LIKEY:

Too difficult, Lot's of status effects or weird healing are annoying and piss me off. :(

Having to micromanage stuff like health, dmg to each limb, bandaids only heal certain injuries, while this potion only helps that injury, splints only can be applied to this status affect is really annoying and dumb. - Stoneshard, Outward, Scum.

Inventory MGMT is bad MMMKAY. Fastest way to lose me, have a small inventory and make me go to the bank every few minutes. UGH

Brighter Shores: This game sucks, it is free, BUT IT SUCKS. Worst combat I have seen in a game, Skills are pointless, most fish you catch you can't even cook. You cook by buying from npc walk to stove cook, walk to next npc sell, food don't heal or anything, such a waste. Game sucks, really bad systems, terrible choices by devs.

Mirthwood: This game isn't great . This game is the opposite of borderlands, NO DROPS AT ALL. Full chests drop 1 or 2 food and that's it. Enemies in full armor with 2 swords drop AN APPLE. This game sucks. Combat isn't good.

Wild Terra 2 - just couldn't get into it.

Outward - not player friendly, micromanaging health and infections isn't fun to me.

StoneShard: Having to heal 30 different parts on body, splints, status affects, etc. makes me lose interest fast.

ARK SURVIVAL ASCENDED: I played the FIRST ark and not the ascended yet, the download is like 150gb so big...takes up so much space. I really wanted to like this, If I played other than solo I think I could stick with it. Solo is meh.

RUST: I played rust early access and had fun! Then they added guns and explosives and wasn't as fun. Having wipes every week or two is just too much for me. Got to put a ton of time into the game.

Hell Divers 2: I really do enjoy the game! The GRIND for weapons is stupid bad though. Like playing a whole day just to unlock 1 weapon is rough. I don't have time for that. IF HD2 was more like single matches I would like it more. I CAN NOT dedicate 3-5 hours for playing 3 rounds. You are suppose to play 3 rounds to get the rewards and to help out in the battle, you need to do 3 matches for it to count and it's too much. If you could put the game down whenever that would be fine, but you CAN NEVER walk way from the game even for a couple minutes ever.

Elden Ring, too difficult, hard to time weapons, heavy weapons making you very slow was annoying. Facing the same enemy more than a few times Is a big hinderance for me, or not being able to save anywhere isn't fun for me, having to go back and redo everything makes me lose interest SUPER fast.

I am thinking about playing Elden Ring with the easy mod. I would actually love to play the game with someone else using the full co-op mod. I have a really bad memory and I can't remember places, things, notes. So having to look up everything online is not fun.

Terraria: It was fun for a while, being a new player and playing with people who know everything isn't great. Having to google every single thing sucks for real. Game gets too complicated and I give up.

Project Zomboid: Not for me, too slow.

Starbound: same as terraria.

Undermine: idk lost interest, wasn't that much fun.

Stardew Valley: Not a fan of - You can only do 14 tasks a day (you only have this much energy) unless you have this potion and eat this food and do this objective then you can do 18 tasks a day. Sleep repeat. Can only do certain events on certain calendar days. I just got bored super quick.

///////////////////////-------------------------\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Single Player Games I like;

Dragons Dogma 2,

The Black Grimoire: I plan on continuing some day. - solo game only

Black Skylands - awesome! Made it 60% of way in and got bored.

Enchanted cave 2 fun!

Dave the diver was fun: I got lost on a quest and couldn't find the way back to a hidden place and gave up.

I want to play Mass effect series at some point.
