Trying to pick out my first gaming chair (or office chair, if that's better) and I'm torn between the five gaming chairs linked below. I'm currently using a cheap metal chair with thin padding on the seat and backrest and need to buy a new chair soon to replace it.
I'll be using the chair at home for hours at a time to do work, browse the Internet, and/or watch videos. I'm 5'10", weigh around 180 lbs, and will be wearing shorts and t-shirts most of the time. I don't sweat much and won't have food or drinks near my desk.
Here are the five gaming chairs that I'm currently considering:
Chair | Price | Material Used | Footrest? | Warranty | Release Date |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Muzii (2020 series; Red option) | $130 (free shipping) | 2.0 PU | No | 1 year | August 9, 2019 |
Muzii (2021 series; Red option) | $140 (free shipping) | Perforated PU Leather | Yes | 1 year | June 28, 2020 |
UOMAX (Black Red-2 option) | $160 (free shipping) | PU and mesh | No | 1 year | February 27, 2019 |
VON RACER (has a USB-powered vibrating lumbar pillow) | $132 (free shipping) | PU Leather | Yes | 1 year | July 13, 2019 |
GTRACING | $180 (free shipping) | "High quality" (bonded) PU Leather | Yes | 1-2 years | July 4, 2018 |
Budget: $180 max (ideally $150 or less)
I'm leaning towards the UOMAX because of the strategic use of mesh and PU along with the cool look and ergonomic design, but I've heard good things about GTRACING and wanted to get a second opinion. Also, I'm not sure how important a footrest is or if I can buy something cheap to rest my feet on under my desk instead. If anyone has any recommendations/advice, I'd really appreciate it!
