This honestly is one of the best games I’ve ever played. It sucks because there’s sooooo much to do and working a full time job leaves so little time to play 😞. So I play using walkthroughs because it would take me probably months trying to beat this game just figuring out stuff myself. I thought using a walkthrough would make it boring, but it’s actually just as good even being guided. A lot of the time I still go off on my own tangent and find things on my own, but like being guided helps in case I get stuck and don’t know how to progress.
I just started Nokron and beat the mimic.
Everything about this game is great from the graphics to the open world, to not holding the players hand (which IS DEFINITELY intense). I have Demon Souls on PS5 but can’t even make it past the first boss because it’s so difficult. So Demon Souls sat on my shelf indefinitely. But with so many options on other things to do first in E.R it’s so good. You get gud and come back and figure it out. Demon souls had a MUCH harder learning curve and straighter path.
Hopefully I finish soon and I think this is one of the first games I might NG
I do think some of the quests are extremely difficult to tell what to do, especially if you aren’t versed in older dialect styles it can be hard to know what they actually mean. I honestly would never solve some of the quests without help. And some of the hidden areas are literally hidden so well you can play the entire game and never find them! Meaning devs knew that and planned for that and didn’t care Just wow, brilliant!
