It's an incredibly popular game that continues to sell well. This version will just replace the current "complete edition". We know that Bethesda are working on both Starfield and ES6, and it's not like this would be taking significant resources away from those games. People who buy this will be either die hard Skyrim fans who just want every edition (more power to them) or people who need a new copy (either because they've never played it, replacing an old copy, changing platforms, etc).
So why is there so much hate for it? Why so many "I'm done with Bethesda" posts.
