It seems that in so many games (especially online competitive games) players are able to use guns outside theyâre optimum range by simply pulling down the right amount on the thumbstick/mouse. I would argue that the âcharactersâ are already doing the recoil management by returning the reticle back to its starting position so âoverridingâ that by effectively looking down a bit while shooting is very unrealistic and creates metas for certain guns. Similarly I would say being able to change sensitivity settings so you can e.g. swivel 180 degrees in 0.1 seconds with an LMG is unrealistic and removes a factor that would be inherent in lugging that kind of gun around.
Are there games out there that donât allow this that I can play and see if this idea is total crap?
