Excluding microtransactions, what is your most hated aspect/mechanic of modern games?
Post Body

Not publisher nonsense, but actual mechanics or aspects specifically put in there. Like for example back in the 7th gen a lot of ppl hated 3rd person cover shooting mechanics.

Mine may be the "slow walk", where you still need to push forward but your character starts moving really slowly which amounts to basically an unskippable cutscenes you can't even just watch.

Instead of just letting you watch or skip a cutscene, or let you keep playing while dialogue is happening, the developers are forcing you to slow down.

Just pulls me out of the fun and makes me not want to replay the games if there's enough of them.

Whats yours?
