So I realize that Nintendo doesn't want to "kill" the 3DS, and lets be real for a second, they are, or to some already have killed of the 3DS, the Nintendo Switch offers such a comparable portable gaming experience that for some, until I'd say main series Fire Emblem and Pokemon games come to Switch, won't have a reason to return to the 3DS. So with that out of the way, I'd like to discuss a way for Nintendo to increase their revenue, and barely cost them anything in the process (While I doubt it'll be as easy as copying some files over with a click and drag, it's simple enough that'd it wouldn't take too long.).
A port of all remastered Legend of Zelda games, this includes
The Two HD Games for Wii U
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
and
The Two N64 remakes for 3DS
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
These games would be even greater with their controls, especially the 3DS ports, as they don't really control the best, expect for the Gyro aiming the 3DS allowed. Otherwise, the way I'd port these specific games is simple enough. I'd release both collections for $60 USD (Convert that to your own currency if you live outside the US) and there'd be two collections, one called the "The HD Collection" and the other would be called the "The 3D Collection" and they'd each hold both games from their respective game platform. Now Nintendo could also sell these games digitally at $30 USD each through the E-Shop.
I really hope I'm not the only person who would think this would be an amazing idea.
