My mom (shes in her late 30's) practically never plays games, and I want to find her some games to play. She has expressed that she has enjoyed a couple choose your own adventure style games in the past, and she likes games that actually use your brain. not like mindless puzzle games, but things that are chewy for the brain is the best way I can think to describe it.
What can I check out that she might like?
Edit: I got a few comments recommending more action heavy games, so I wanted to make a correction. I'm looking for VERY simple games that she can instantly -- or nearly instantly -- understand. I was thinking she might like Firewatch. It doesn't have any learning curve or any fancy mechanics to try and learn, its a walking simulator with a good story. She is never going to enjoy an RPG, or a sports game, or an MMO, etc. etc.
