Anyone else here have some amazing experiences with Squad? or Project Reality? I think Reddit deserves to know how great this game is going to be.
(Note: This game is realistic, not a spray and pray and not a fast pace shooter its just intense.
I was recently leading a squad of 6 men in Logar Valley (Afghan Helmend province looking map), we came up on a river bank outside an enemy town and ran into a full squad of taliban on the same side of the river bank we approached from. This turned from popshots to full on fire fight, I tried to have my men retreat to a defensive position only to have the taliban coordinate with another enemy squad with RPK and RPG fire onto my squads position from high ground. ( This turned into a full on fight for survival, popping smoke, covering the medic, laying down covering fire)
I called for back up through squad chat to my friendly squads and had squad leaders coordinate their squads to suppress the heavy fire, and then reinforce my position to overrun the enemy..
In the end we had a 35 minute fire fight with over 40 people and the team work and realism is just epic..
Get this game if you like firefights. :)
