Games Localization/Translation - Any insider's tips on how to get in?
Post Body

I've been thinking a lot lately and since I really like English, to the point that I started attending University mostly for it (I'm Italian but rather fluent), I'm here wondering: how does one get employed to work on videogames localization/translation teams? Is it outsourced to specific agencies or companies or is it done entirely "in house" by the developers? I saw, for example, that Blizzard was hiring some time ago for a translator that had some qualification but how do I actually get into the circle?

Would be nice if anybody that has some first hand experience or actually do it as a job could give me some tips.

Cheers ^
