Should I get a smart tv or a 144hz monitor for console and pc gaming?
Post Body
I convinced my mother to pay half of a tv or monitor for my birthday and Christmas since they are 10 days apart. I've seen tvs that are 120hz. I have a ps2, xbox 360, and wii that I'd like to take from the living room and place in mine but I don't have a tv in there. I'm not positive on if a 144hz monitor would play them if it has an hdmi port on the back, and if the tv would give me 120 fps for my pc. Does anyone else have experience with this scenario?
Edit: The monitors I have at the moment do not have an hdmi port to test this with.
