I got Ryse: Son of Rome on sale for 10 bucks on Humble Bundle, just wanted to share my thoughts so far
Post Body

So I saw Ryse on Humble Bundle store for pretty cheap ($10) and decided it was worth picking up. I gotta say I've been having a blast playing! I have a gtx 750 ti in my pc, arguably a decent mid range card, but this game runs incredibly well and smooth. I can say hands down its one of the best looking games I've played in a long time, maybe ever. For all the flak that native upscaling gets, I think it's a very useful optimization tool. With Max settings( AA turned off, super sampling turned off, anisotropic filtering x4), and 90% of native resolution, the game runs VERY well on my PC and looks phenomenal. The combat is fun, not too difficult and the QTE's provide a very cinematic feel. I know that may rub people the wrong way, but for 10 bucks I really don't mind at all and I'm having a blast. I'm not sure if it's still on sale but if it is, it's definitely worth the 10 bucks to play. So far I've completed about 80% of the game with a modest 8 hours put into it so far. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on Ryse: Son of Rome. For me, I think it's an outstanding game. Extremely well optimized for a mid range pc
