Need video card advice

I purchased Witcher 3 on steam. It is not running well at all. It is essentially unplayable due to the lag. I am pretty ignorant when it comes to computers but I think I need a new video card. Here is my current computer specs:
Windows 7 64 bit Processor: AMD fx(tm) - 4130 quad-core processor 3.80 ghz Ram: 8gb
Any advice on which video card I should purchase would be greatly appreciated!
