I was thinking about some of the video games I like and game forums I've been to in the past.
To start, I like some games that are widely known as bad. The kind of games that score a 60 or less on Metacritic, usually in the red. The kind of games gamers on forums like GameSpot or IGN would see, and laugh and mock the person who likes them. The kind of games that don't usually make it to the "best of" lists.
My question is simple, is it wrong to like such games? Usually when I see this form of negativeness, it gives me the impression that "it's wrong". Is it even possible for the person playing to have a different opinion, despite it not conforming to the popular opinion.
Just something on my mind gaming related, that's all. Not going to mention any games as I don't want to start arguments or fights if one should hate any of the games I like. Any answers would be nice, thanks in advance.
