What games have I missed the passed 12 years?

My daughter turned 12 this year and I am finally in a position to enioy my old hobbies. I missed tons of games of the century, I know. But there is so much to sift through and try to remember. What games should be top of the list (or even middle of the list?)
I got to touch a few games the passed 12 years like half of FFVII Remake, Hades, Breathe of the Wild 1, and sporadic Overwatch matches until 2 killed it for me.
I love great stories and single player games.
