Several years ago (Likely 2014~2018), there was a game I played that was roleplay only.
The creators of the game made sure that only players who cared about roleplay were involved, and that it was the centerpoint of the game. I remember there was a website dedicated to bi-yearly gatherings to those who played the game.
The game began with an "A", but was not "Albion" (and far from it). It allowed you to choose from a selection of races, and a wider arrangement of classes/professions. Does anyone know about this game, or a game that is similar to it?
It was phenomenal, as it allowed players to create entire backstories for simple characters were involved in a well-developed world.
Does any of this exist? If not what I specified, is there anything close?
I recall strongly playing an orc farmer in 2016 that had a strong roleplay with others in a birds-eye-view game. I hope to find it again.
