So up until today I would have said Fallout 76. I avoided it like the plague (is that okay to say post-COVID?) primarily due to my aversion to multiplayer games, but also due to its notorious launch. Now, after having played it for a good chunk of time, it clearly is the weakest of all the Fallout games, but truth be told it's not horrible.
HOWEVER, today I started playing a TEN-YEAR OLD indie/AA game called Contrast and I freaking love it. It's a puzzle platformer with a detective noir feel in gay (heh) Paris, and I am completely enamored with it. It's just a good video game. It's not trying to be a Quintuple-A video renaissance... it's good, solid, and brain-captivating fun. And that soundtrack... **chef's kiss**
So what's a game you slept on? Make sure to include systems so we can all stop sleeping on it too!
