Music/atmosphere in Metroid Prime is incredible.

I am blown away by the atmosphere they managed to create for Metroid prime. The music, the scanning (although repetitive) really adds to the sense of a desolate planet - the intricacies of the map and having to search for your lost abilities in unknown lands - just wow!
I am really impressed that they were able to accomplish this 20 years ago.
I don’t think I’ve ever had that feeling in any other game.
