I'm trying to find a game where I can customize and grow my team of characters. A good example would be X-com, I loved being able to bond with my characters because the creation and leveling aspect made them personal and special and yet with the difficulty and strategy aspect I could risk losing them permanently making me hold onto them tighter. I'm ok with either playing the characters or simulating them but I am a huge fan of customization and rpg elements. I played divinity original sin and loved that but I'm cursed with a gf that won't let me continue without her but never plays lol. Any theme works I'm just trying to find a strategic game with customizable characters and rpg elements. Thank you for reading and can't wait to check out your suggestions!
