As the title says, Iโm looking to buy or build a budget (read cheap as possible) PC to start gaming that I can upgrade later on as my tastes and skills change. Our house is entirely Apple and the most recent machine we have is a 2013 iMac 27โ.
I know I can run Windows (not sure what version) via bootcamp or parallels. But Iโm thinking I may be better off building a bare bones PC to run some games on Steam and that I can upgrade when I find more demanding or advanced games.
Iโd probably be starting with the Fallout Series, Bioshock, The Witcher, Halo, The Outer Worlds, The Outer Wilds, Factorio, things of that nature. Star Craft I and II, Diablo, working my way up to Star Citizen kind of paths.
Recommendations?
I have several old PC laptops but I donโt think any of them go past Windows 10 and 8-16GB ram. No idea what the on board graphics chips are.
