Turn based battle systems without placement/movement, but with a innovative twist in the turn order. Examples are Star Renegades and Ruined King. Please read for more explanations.

Post Body

Okay so I'm looking for games with a "classical" turn based combat, not something like xcom or triangle strategy where you move chars around on a board but more like Final Fantasy X or Persona, where both parties stand on a fixed screen and take turns.

However, unlike FFX I'm looking for special twists in how time is flowing. Two Examples:

  • Ruined King, where there is not one but 3 timelines/lanes and you can place your action on one of them.
  • Star Renegades: here you have a timeline where you can push enemies back to stagger them and take turn before them.

All suggestions are much appreciated!!
