Post Body

Couple things I never understood about Stannis' attack on Free Folk :

  1. I don't think they ever said that he stopped at Castle Black before attacking the Free Folk beyond the wall. So how did he get beyond the wall with his troops without going through Castle Black first ?
  2. Also - why would he attack the Free Folk anyway ? It didn't seem like he had anything to gain, and he was already in a position where he couldn't risk losing more men than he had already lost at King's Landing.

Thank you.
