I was disappointed back then: Not only that her descent into madness was so rushed (there were hints before, I realize these days, but somehow I didn't buy that sudden madness back then) but her death felt meaningless and cheap.
Today I think this throne scene was done beautifully. It is the best scene from season 8, IMO. Even though her death and deathly madness still upset me, now I accept her destiny.
Would love to hear your thoughts now VS back then in 2019.
I like that it happened, just the way it played put felt rushed. Which didn't make it so much of a climax I guess. I feel there were signs all along, but it still felt like a switch flipped suddenly. And then jon also, suddenly flipped his switch. Maybe if there had been more disagreement between them too I'd have felt better idk
