I understand why majority of people hated the finale and thinks it was poorly written. It seemed very rushed and wasn’t as good as the previous seasons. However, I feel like our favorite characters got a good ending. Sansa became the queen of the north, Arya got to travel the world, Jon joined the wildlings, Tyrion is hand of the king and Bran is the king of Westeros’s. I feel like that makes sense, he is literally a three eye raven and isn’t tied down to human emotions. I do hate the way Cersei and Jamie die out of all the deaths we have seen, that was just dumb. They did not deserve to die together and the easy way out. I think Daenerys death/ending honestly made more sense. The Targaryen’s have a history of mental illness and schizophrenia. One of the ways to trigger it, you have to experience something traumatizing and then you slowly start to go insane. So, Daenerys losing her husband, child, Barristan Selmy, Jorah Mormont, and Missandei were devastating moments leading up to her turning mad.Even though Jon loved her and believed in her, he chose to do the right thing and doesn’t want history to repeat itself. All that to say, does anyone else agree with me? or do you all think it deserved a better ending?
I agree. I'm not that bothered by the ending, and I wasn't bothered when the pace was upped in the later series.
