[GM:S] [Android] Server unable to connect to client when client is on Android?

I am working on a game right now and have run into an issue.
The server works and is being hosted on a virtual machine in Amazon's cloud service. The client runs on PC fine and can connect to it from any computer, but when I compile the game to an APK and run it on my phone, my phone fails to see the server (and the server never connects to my phone).
I am unsure as to why. Are there ports you cannot access on Android? That wouldn't make sense to me.
Ask any questions you desire, I am just not sure where to start.
Pretty much, the client can connect to it on PC, just not on Android.
