Like programming as much as I do? Perhaps you will enjoy this. A genetic algorithm is basically a method by which a computer goes through in order to evolve and produce a result based on a criterion like "best runner". To do this it goes through trials after trials of simulations and tests to pick the next best creation to "pass on". This, seemingly simple, can create surprising, beautiful, and complex results. Don't understand? Here are a few examples.

The reason I am posting this here is because I am wondering... Have you ever created something that mimics these principles? Does it interest you at all? Would you participate in a potentially competitive event in which the theme is just this? Does gamemaker have the power to do this fast and efficiently? Any example you might have would be deeply appreciated. Let me know!
