Daughter and I thought it up as we were following the garbage truck to school this morning.

You play as a modern AI garbage truck that comes equipped with its own mechanical arm called the “grabber” as well as a grinder built in to help break down garbage and create space for more pickups.

One day the AI part of you has had enough of the humans bullshit, being forced to collect garbage everyday and seeing just how much humans are destroying the Earth and creating environmental disasters. You decide to really start “taking out the trash”.

The game tutorial would be you doing your normal job of grabbing garbage cans and dumping them into your bin, then emptying yourself in the dump yard.

The actual gameplay would be after you become aware enough to hate humans. You start grabbing humans instead of the cans and throwing them into your grinder. Of course you must do this stealthily to avoid being de-commissioned. Your bin will start to leak blood if you get too full so you have to make frequent dumps at the dump yard - but must also collect normal garbage to dump on top of the bodies to help hide them.

You also have to periodically go through car washes and continue with your own route so the humans don’t get suspicious.

End goal would be to kill as many humans as you can before being discovered. The longer the game goes on for the harder it gets as the humans begin stationing police and other officials everywhere to watch for suspicious activity since people are going missing.

Not super fleshed out but a passing thought for a game my daughter and I thought would be cool!
