The title explains the majority of this idea. When creating a character, choose a faction and a class. Classes being support, marksman, infantry, pilot, medic. After creating your character you are given a starting set of weapons and armor. Using elements from tarkov, you gain currency in order to purchace better weapons, armor, vehicle upgrades(if a pilot). Takinf inspiration from world of warcraft, in a massive open world you fight the enemy faction on large scale or smaller operations. Being night raids, dog fights, large scale conflict, etc. Taking strategic points on the map will give your faction an advantage by allowing you to respawn at those points. Dieing will be more like tarkov where you lose your weapon and all of your gear. But the currency you gain will allow you to purchase more weapons and armor. With the same insurance system as tarkov. Or if you manage to make your way back to your death site you can retrieve the gear you lost with no repercussions. If you manage to make your way into the enemy Capitol. You can take it over and claim it as your own. If your capital has been taken you become refugees. Working in the shadows in order to take back cities and eventually your Capitol. Pilots will be the hardest class to balance, I havent worked out how that will be implemented. A stash system and inventory system similar to tarkov with element of the hardcore mil sim genre. Blown up to a massive scale within a persistent open world. Creating a guild similar to world of warcraft or arma 3 will give you advantages such as access to money, gear, and a team to conduct your own operations on the front lines, in the air, or behind enemy lines in covert operations.
