Am I the only one.....

I wasn’t aware episodes are filmed like 2-3 weeks in advanced....like I understand editing takes time but releasing 2 10-15 min segments a day takes that long to edit???? I for some reason thought it was filmed maybe a week in advance at most like film Friday then edit over the weekend and release them during the following week...but 2-3 weeks....
This whole thought came about from episode 11 of Mario odyssey when dan announced the episode was filmed on Halloween.....
