What is considered a successful game?
Post Body

I'm a curious as to what everyone considers a successful game.

In my opinion I would say you made some sort of profit on the game once you take into account the cost of development.

For example I spend about 10 hours a week working on a game for let's say 2 years as a hobby. I value my time at low level developer so let's say $21 USD an hour. That would by 1040 hour times 21 is $21,840 USD.

I make all my own assets so the only cost would be my time.

I would consider anything above the 21,840 as a successful launch. What do you think?
