tldr; bought a fake copy of Conker and this video helped me prove it.
I am not affiliated with the op of this video. Today, I have realized that a copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day that I got as a bday gift was a fake. This video proved it to me. I am very disheartened and just straight up angry at the seller and feel it almost necessary to say that if you ever have a doubt about a game, it doesn't hurt to check if it's real.
I have posted before on how people would feel if I myself sold refurbs or repros and I got a pretty bad backlash. I did not understand it at the time but now, I'm just so pissed, it's unbelievable. I still feel that replacing a save battery is fine but anything else is just wrong. Always check your games, don't sell fakes, if you find a fake just keep it and talk to the seller so at least there is not as many repros out there.
It's so disappointing. My Dad got it for me because I have wanted that game for years. He too is a lover of games so he did the research. He did all he could to find me an original. Now, we are both just unbelievably pissed. Again, if you ever have a doubt, just check it.
